So what happens when you make that rediscovery of your vintage toy perhaps in your loft, basement or shed.  Chances are it will be covered in dust, missing parts and seized due to 50 year old oil and debris.  Quite often it needs a good clean, lubrication and in some case replacement parts to get your prized model running again or looking like new.   

You may feel confident in doing this yourself, in which case I'd encourage you to wind back the years and relive your childhood.   However, if you are not so confident then I offer a service which I hope will enable you to either enjoy your toys a second time around, share with someone who might be experiencing them for the first time or just to have a fantastic display piece.

How it works:

1. Email us at contactus@foryourden.co.uk.
2. Tell us about your item and if possible attach some pictures.
3. If we think we can help, package up your model and send it to us. We would expect you to cover the cost of postage.
4. Once we have received your item, we will perform a free diagnostic to find out what the problem is.  This may mean taking your model apart, but we would tell you this before doing so.
5. Once we have performed a diagnostic of your model we will provide you with a quote outlining the work that needs to done, any replacement parts that are needed and the costs needed to return your model to working order.
6. At this point, you can instruct us to carry out the work or we can return your model to you as we received it.  Again we would expect you to cover the cost of postage.
7. If you would like us to carry out the work, then we would  source any replacement parts and get your toy or model ready for repair.
8. Once the work has been carried out, we will test your item before informing you that your model is ready to be returned to you.  We will also invoice you for the work carried out and postage.
9. Once we have received payment, your model will be shipped back to you.
